A sweet moment at Meadowview!
First graders wrote their own "How to Be a First Grader" instructional books. They then shared their stories with kindergarten students, offering advice and a look into what they can look forward to next year.
It was a wonderful opportunity for our first graders to showcase their writing skills while helping younger students feel excited and confident about the transition to first grade!

Meadowview students 🎉Celebrated Their Learning 🎉 Starbucks-style!
Before Forward testing, Learning Coach Mrs. Esch created test-taking strategy posters and visited classrooms to share an encouraging message with students before they began. Students also received special bracelets with the words "Celebrate your learning" printed on them.
3rd, 4th, and 5th graders who earned a ticket for demonstrating strong effort and applying positive test-taking strategies were invited to Esch’s Café! Thanks to the generosity of Starbucks and the support of our incredible parent volunteers (rocking those aprons!), students enjoyed drinks, cake pops, and a well-deserved moment to celebrate their hard work

It's a zoo!
Meadowview 5th graders combined their math, research, and creativity to bring a zoo full of animals to life—box by box! 
As part of their study of volume, students chose a zoo animal to build entirely out of rectangular prisms. They calculated the total volume of their creations, showing off their skills in finding the volume of 3D shapes. Students also researched their animal and wrote a short presentation to share interesting facts and fun details.
Meadowview Artists
Meadowview artists are busy creating sculptures for their “Future You” project! We can’t wait to see how these young artists imagine their future selves. 
Ancient American Civilizations
Fifth graders had a blast celebrating the end of their Ancient American Civilizations unit with hands-on activities like Mayan Math, mask painting, guided drawing, jewelry making, and Pok-A-Tok! Way to go, fifth grade!
